New GUI Design

Our new improved GUI Design. *it looks better when Play-ed*

There are not much differences on the buttons. Still the same main three. This time, everytime the mouse cursor move on these buttons, the button still animated plus a picture appears. Each buttons with a different picture. The 3D 'Pilah' still rotates as it were.

We added a few secondary buttons and change the button names too.

'The Golek's' bring user to the golekforyou members page.

'Golekforyou' link to, how to contact golekforyou. That's where our blog URL, our location & stuffs will be.

As for 'Quit' button, it brings you to the end of pages of the project.

The second image is what you will se when the main button are clicked.

GUI Design

Basically here's how our GUI Design works. There are the main buttons of 'history', 'culture' and 'cuisine'. When the mouse cursor roll over these buttons, the buttons should do some simple animations. And by clicking the buttons, user would go the next page. Example, if you click on 'history' the history page should appear.

And there are secondary buttons too. What are secondary buttons? We called it secondary buttons because these buttons link to the page of information of the group members of the projects. *banyak pule 'of'*

the 3D word od 'Pilah' was our project title. The 3D are goig to animated all through out the page. It's bot a button or something else. We just happened wanted to put ir there.

In the middle of the page, there's a picture of the Minangkabau's. Should this pixx was temporary if we decided to change it to something else. Maybe, a better picture or that is more suitable. We'll see.

So, that's roughly about our GUI Design. If there are going to be any changes, i don't think it will be that huge change. Maybe we will add a couple more buttons and more background pictures, that's all.

reason why we choose this is because locals call it without the "kuala".
Reason:-
the reason our group choosing kuala pilah is because three of our group mate which is hizami, dayat, and aziq is from negeri sembilan and negeri sembilan are also rich with culture and heritage that we want to share with others.

Target Audience:-
our target audience is general audience. so that everyone can use our application and get some knowledge.

Scope:-
KUALA PILAH

Introduction:-
briefly introduction on kuala pilah

Culture :-
custom and tradition, traditional costume, traditional dance and music

Cuisine :-
traditional food, cooking recipe, favorite food

History :-
story on kuala pilah, historical places,

place of interest :-
interesting places to visit in kuala pilah.

Objective:-
To educate people about the traditional heritage in kuala pilah with multimedia rich content and application.And encourage young generation to learn more about their culture.

concept:-
our project is going to be full of pictures and graphic with tradional music as a background music
there are also will be animation some vidoes,fun games and interactivity. so its going to be entertaining and user friendly.

Proposal

Salam and good day.

As for the MCP1013 assignment, here are our proposal.
At first we have chosen Negeri Sembilan as our place of target. Why Negeri Sembilan? Surprisingly, our group members which are Hidayat, Hadziq and Hizami are all have a relation with the state. It's either we were born in N9 or our parents are 'Negeri Sembilanians'. But it seems like, our parents are the true negeri's.

Then, in our tutorial class for the second week, our tutor told us that, the place should be smaller, narrower, more specific; you name it. Meaning that, instead of doing a state, we should be doing project of a city, a kampung or a pekan, something like that.

Since then, we dicided to choose Kuala Pilah; still in Negeri Sembilan. We think that should be good enough, hopefully.

We didn't actually divided our area of projects. That's because, we think we should do it all togther. But still, there will be 'leader' (which will specific their research on the division). Here's what we have decided what to include in the project.

Cuisine - Traditional, popular, best-seller food, kueh in Kuala Pilah.
Culture - Language('loghat'), clothing, and that's related.
History - The stories behind Kuala Pilah, the historical places, etc.

What media will we be using? Surely there will be pictures; a lot of 'em. There should be some videos too. Music, mp3's, etc.
For the interactions, we haven't really decided yet what we want to do. But, there are a few things in mind. We hope we will make it as fun as possible.

Softwares that we would be using are mostly the software we are familliar with such as;

Adobe Photoshop CS2 - for pictures editing.
Adobe Illustrator CS2 - if we decided to put in vector graphics.
Sony Vegas/Adobe Premier - videos editing. Depends on which software we manage to get.

It's golekforyou in the blog. First of all, for the visitors knowledge, this blog was created only for one purposed. Our Multimedia Authoring subject MCP1013 requires us to 'use' the blog for our final project. What will basically be inside here is all related to the project. The planning, proposal, flowchart and stuffs. So, if you guys expected some personal things, 'heart to heart' talks; that kind of stuff, I guessed you should start finding yourself some other blog out there.
